About 50 young baseball players received the training of a lifetime with MLB alumni in the first annual Jake’s 58 Baseball Clinic in Islandia.
Attendees rotated through five training stations, which covered hitting, pitching, infield, outfield and baserunning.
They were coached by former Mets players, including Ed Kranepool, Art Shamsky and Tim Teufel.
