A 76-year-old former Bay Shore teacher who was charged with sexually abusing two students is set to appear in court Tuesday.

At least 45 other former students have filed lawsuits against Thomas Bernagozzi and the school district.

Bernagozzi worked at Clarkson Elementary and Gardner Manor Elementary from 1970-2000.
