Fordham University?s new Head Football Coach Tom Masella hopes to start his tenure with the Rams breaking a losing streak in their openers.
The team hasn?t won an opener since 2003 when it beat C.W. Post 42-7. The Ram?s 107th football season gets underway September 2 in a game against Monmouth University at Jack Coffey Field at 6 p.m.
Masella led his former school, Central Connecticut State, to two straight Northeast Conference Championships. The league is one that Monmouth plays in, making Masella familiar with the team. He?s confident the Rams will win.
