It’s a dream for many to be able to travel the world and some Long Islanders got to experience cultures from all over without having the leave the island.
Floral Park Memorial High School hosted its first-ever International Knight of Cultural Celebration.
Students and parents got to sample foods from different countries.Others performed native dances from more than a dozen countries.
Students say the event is helping them celebrate their diverse school community.
Organizers say they are hoping to make this an annual event.
