Firefighter's widow files wrongful death lawsuit

The wife of a firefighter who lost his life after battling a blaze in Woodmere has filed a lawsuit. Inwood volunteer firefighter Joseph Sanford died days after being injured in a house fire in December.

The wife of a firefighter who lost his life after battling a blaze in Woodmere has filed a lawsuit.
Inwood volunteer firefighter Joseph Sanford died days after being injured in a house fire in December.
His wife, Jacqueline, has filed a wrongful death suit against the homeowners and contractors. 
The lawsuit claims the contractor was storing paints and flammable liquids, and the home violated fire codes.
