Firefighters were able to quickly contain a house fire that broke out in Brentwood on Saturday morning.

Fire officials said the flames erupted inside a bedroom of a home on Peach Street just before 10 a.m.

Firefighters were able to stop it before it spread to the rest of the home which was damaged by smoke.

The Red Cross will now take care of the family of four after fire officials said they would not be able to return.
