Fire officials say a brush fire has been contained in Ridge.  

The fire broke out near 24 Forest Trail in Ridge around 5:56 a.m.  

The Middle Island Fire Department, Rocky Point Fire Department and Wading River Fire Department helped Ridge Fire Department with brush trucks.  

The scene is clear now and no injuries were reported.
