It could soon be a rough ride for anyone heading to Ocean
Beach. Fire Island Ferries is set to suspend service to Ocean Beach beginning March
1.
The move
comes after the ferry company failed to reach a new contract with the Ocean
Beach village board.
Ferries
originally bound for Ocean Beach will arrive and depart from Seaview.
All
freight services will arrive and depart from Ocean Bay Park.
