The staff house of the Fire Island Hotel went up in flames Thursday.
Chopper 12 was over Cayuga Street on Ocean Beach Thursday afternoon.
A total of 11 fire departments responded to the call. Smoke billowed from the building as firefighters sprayed the structure with water.
No injuries were reported.
