On this Road Trip: Close to Home, you can be the king and queen of your very own castle in Huntington.
When you first enter Oheka Castle, you are greeted by a magnificent staircase that is modeled after a staircase in a French chateau.
"A lot of people tend to think we are just a wedding venue, but in reality you can come anytime you like and book a guest room. You can experience the mansion tour, as well as our bar, and restaurant which is open for lunch and dinner," says John Montiel.
Oheka Castle is a 127-room French chateau that rises dramatically from the highest point on Long Island's Gold Coast.
The once 444-acre estate was built by Otto Kahn - a wealthy financier and philanthropist who held lavish parties in the ball room, and the exquisite dining room during the roaring 20s.
The castle's rooms have been restored including the library - a fan favorite with its cozy couches and stunning views.
After the hourlong tour, you will probably work up quite an appetite but we have good news - you can dine in style at the castle's restaurant.
If you don't want to leave, you can stay because the castles has 34 luxury suites.
