Federal authorities place fishing restrictions on bluefish
There are new fishing restrictions for one of Long Island's most popular catches.
Federal authorities have now declared bluefish are over-fished.

To help restore the population, officials say recreational anglers can only keep three bluefish per day.

Charter customers can keep five.

The species is one of the most popular catches on the East Coast.
