A man accused of stabbing and killing his estranged wife in Farmingville was arraigned on Tuesday.
Marcos Marques-Leal, 57, allegedly killed Adriana Barbosa inside of their home on Granny Road on Feb. 12.
Detectives say Marques-Leal then stabbed himself and was hospitalized with serious injuries.
He pleaded not guilty and was remanded without bail during his court appearance.
A teen relative was also hurt during the attack and a temporary order of protection was also issued at the arraignment.
Marques-Leal is due back in court next month.
