Fireworks dazzled the sky at the Fairfield Properties Ballpark Monday in Central Islip.

The Long Island Ducks treated their sold-out crowd to a preview of what it will look like across much of Long Island on the Fourth of July.

Those who came out to the baseball game say a little wet weather was not going to stop them from enjoying the evening.

"We love Fourth of July, we love being out with the family and celebrating and seeing the fireworks," said Melissa Cox.

Fireworks will also be happening at Shelter Island, Long Beach, Montauk and Jones Beach on Independence Day.
