Family: Victim in Deer Park carjacking assault has died

A man has died after he was carjacked and beaten in Deer Park, according to the victim's brother.
Relatives say 65-year-old Donald, who was already disabled, was on a ventilator and in a coma at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore following the attack.
Police say Donald was assaulted by two people near his Deer Park townhouse complex earlier this week. They say the men then stole his car.
So far, no arrests have been made.
