Family members are keeping a constant vigil at the bedside of a comatose Huntington Station teen who was attacked two weeks ago.
C.W. Post freshman Michael Pelosi, 19, attended a fair at the Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington on June 10 when he was attacked by as many as six individuals. He was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital with severe head trauma. Suffolk police say the investigation is ongoing.
Friends describe Pelosi as a straightforward guy who doesn?t back down, and they say he knew he might get into trouble when he went to the mall that day. They say they are disappointed Suffolk police have not done more to catch those responsible.
