The Jara family has been decorating their home on Winnepoge Drive in Fairfield every Halloween for the past 21 years.
This year is no different.
"I've wanted to do the "Titanic" for Halloween for a really long time, and I knew turning 50, I knew my husband couldn't say no to me," said Monique Jara.
Pass by the home and one will see a massive ship docked on their front yard.
"Well when she said build the Titanic in the front yard, I had no idea how that was going to happen," said Monique's husband, Art Jara, "I didn't think the yard was big enough."
Not only is there a "Titanic" prop but they have a skeleton of Jack and Rose, too.
"It's a really a nighttime drive by during the day it's hard to see, but when 6, 7 o'clock comes and the fog machine and the music starts, it really comes together," explained Monique.
The decoration is only the tip of the iceberg. On Halloween night, the duo and 10 other volunteers put on a performance for trick-or-treaters.
"I'll be the captain and roam around and just try to scare as much as we can," said Art.
"It comes alive with the volunteers and we're all going to be frozen," said Monique.
Donations will go toward Tunnel to Towers.
