The spotlight shined bright Saturday night on the ice at UBS Arena for a 104-year-old World War II veteran.

Dominick Critelli played the National Anthem on his saxophone, and the crowd went crazy for the Floral Park native.

Critelli even played during his time overseas. He told News 12 his performance was for his buddies who sacrificed their lives for our country.

"That's why I go to these places, I want to do it, I want to represent them, to do something for them. That's all I can do for them,” he said.

Critelli says he's been playing music for over 90 years.
