Extra security measures will be taken during this year's Belmont Stakes horse race, in light of the Boston Marathon bombings in April.
In a similar fashion to the Long Island Marathon, radiation detectors, numerous bag checks and additional police officers will be on site to ensure safety.
The Belmont Stakes is the final leg of the Triple Crown and will take place this Saturday in Belmont Park.
