Police say an Oceanside man accused of going on a crime spree and assaulting two police officers is under arrest.
According to police, the stolen car, a black BMW, was used in multiple crimes throughout Nassau County.
The 21-year-old is accused of stealing gas and tip jars from 11 different businesses, including in Williston Park.
Pia Califano, 20, of Levittown, was also identified as a suspect in the robberies.
Fredericks and Califano were arrested without incident.
Detectives were able to close out 23 additional cases connected to Fredricks that occurred from Jan. 29 through March 4.
Police say Califano was responsible for a petit larceny that occurred on March 1. She was issued an appearance ticket.
Fredricks is charged with robbery, assault, grand larceny, reckless endangerment, three counts of criminal possession of a stolen property and 16 counts of petit larceny and attempted petit larceny.
