Ex-owner of Thatched Cottage admits to forced labor

The man who owned the Thatched Cottage in Centerport for 26 years  is admitting to forced labor.
Ralph Colamussi pleaded guilty on Wednesday.
Colamussi admitted threatening to report workers to immigration authorities if they objected to doing certain jobs at the catering venue or complained about not being paid.
He also confessed to fraudulently helping the employees get student visas.
Colamussi faces up to 20 years in prison and could have to pay more than $250,000.
