A former fire official in Nassau is accused of stealing from former fellow volunteers in his department. Robert Brown, of Farmingdale, used to be treasurer for the Glenwood Landing Fire Department.

A former fire official in Nassau is accused of stealing from former fellow volunteers in his department.
Robert Brown, of Farmingdale, used to be treasurer for the Glenwood Landing Fire Department.
Brown is charged with stealing more than $45,000.
Prosecutors say Brown took money from a membership fund and also stole an arcade machine.
