Erykah Badu headlines Afropunk Festival's in August

Organizers say this year's event is a "a celebration of the future of Black life, creativity, community and expression reimagined."

The Afropunk Festival is returning in August with neo-soul singer Erykah Badu with a new location in Brooklyn.
The two-day event is moving from Greenpoint and will now be held at Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park on Aug. 24 and Aug. 25.
Organizers say this year's event is a "a celebration of the future of Black life, creativity, community and expression reimagined."
