An employee at a Copiague car dealership says thieves stole 10 BMWs.
The worker says it happened Wednesday evening because he noticed something was off Thursday morning when he came in at around 9:30 a.m. He says when he came in, the lights would not come on and then he noticed two cars were missing from the showroom.
"We start seeing cabinets are destroyed - paperwork is all ruffled up," says Jeffery, of Copiague. "I go to the key room and I see all of our BMW keys are gone."
The alleged heist comes nearly a week after eight vehicles were taken from a dealership in Inwood.
Suffolk County police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
