An Elmont woman is accused of attacking another woman over a social media post.

Police arrested 24-year-old Niaomi Russell on Tuesday.

According to police, Russell broke into a house on Parkhurst Road to confront an acquaintance about a negative social post. They say Russell beat the victim and stole from her purse.

Russell was arrested shortly after.

Russell is charged with assault, burglary, and grand larceny.
