Police arrested an Elmont man accused of fighting officers in his home.
Investigators say police were conducting an unspecified investigation at a home on Baylis Avenue when Nicholas Depasquale tried to run from them.
Depasquale allegedly punched, kicked and pushed the officers, causing them to tumble down his basement steps.
One officer was treated for elbow and back injuries.
