A senior at Elmont Memorial High School is faced with a tough choice after being accepted to all eight Ivy League universities.
Harold Ekeh was accepted into all of the prestigious schools with almost full scholarships.
The senior is the oldest of five siblings and a winner of the Intel Science Talent Search. He is the salutatorian of his class and scored a 2270 on his SATs.
Science teacher Michelle Flannory says Ekeh is a good-hearted young man who other students look up to.
Ekeh says he attributes much of his success to his parents who immigrated to Long Island from Nigeria so their sons could receive a better education.
Ekeh says that he is leaning toward Yale as his No. 1 choice. He has hopes of becoming a neurosurgeon.
Last year, William Floyd High School student Kwasi Enin was also accepted to all the Ivy League schools. He chose Yale.
