The election is over, but the political arguing around the Thanksgiving table could be just beginning.
Carol Miller, of Central Islip, says there is sure to be a discussion of the contentious election at this year's feast.
"Not out of hand, it'll just get heated," says Miller.
Experts say those not looking to discuss politics can offer a subtle, or not so subtle, topic change to sports, babies and pets.
"Shift it in that direction and everyone will be happy," says Dr. Peter Kanaris, a clinical psychologist.
