Kevin McDonald, of Medford, was arraigned Friday on charges of rape and endangering the welfare of a child.
He allegedly had sex with a 14-year-old girl in a car in Bellport before dropping her at a Bohemia motel.
According to court documents, it happened on Dec. 10.
McDonald entered a plea of not guilty.
His attorney told the judge he recognizes this is part of “a larger investigation” but wants his client’s case to be considered separate.
This is the eighth arrest in connection with the 14-year-old who was missing for weeks.
Others tied to the teen have been charged with sex trafficking, rape and kidnapping.
McDonald’s bail was set at $250,000 cash or $500,000 bond. He is due back in court on Feb. 5.
The teen who was missing was ultimately found on a boat in Islip.
