Eastport pre-K class takes part in Operation Gratitude

A pre-kindergarten class on the East End celebrated the 50th anniversary of the SCOPE program by putting together 50 care packages for U.S. troops overseas.
The class at Tuttle Avenue Elementary School in Eastport took part in Operation Gratitude.
The students each brought in items such as snack bars and other goods.
Troops should have their packages by the end of this month.
