The community of East Northport paid a unique tribute to one its fallen soldiers by renaming a street in his honor. One of the streets in towns will now be known as CW 4 John Engeman Way, named after Chief Warrant Officer Four John Engeman. Engeman was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq this spring after serving for more than three decades in the military. The new street signs stands at the corner of Ketay Street and Ketay Drive North, just a block from where Engeman grew up.As the crowd unveiled the sign to honor Engeman, they prayed for his son Patrick, who was deployed to Iraq just two months after his dad was killed.
