An East Hampton man has pled guilty to kidnapping and robbing a woman of thousands of dollars.
The Suffolk County district attorney says Jay Rowe got into a woman's car in March 2021 after he followed her to a bank.
The 48-year-old flashed a gun and forced her to a remote location.
Police say he then robbed her and fled.
He was later arrested in Massachusetts.
Rowe faces nine years and six months behind bars and five years of post-release supervision.
