Long Island breweries and wineries are back in business.
Among them those hit hard by the coronavirus – Greenport Harbor Brewing Company. The Peconic brewery was closed back in March when a worker tested positive for the virus.
Another brewery welcoming guests to their outdoor beer garden is Long Ireland Beer Company in Riverhead.
Masks are required of all staff and customers in the tasting room, groups are limited to parties of six and all guests must be 21 and over.
Several wineries and tasting rooms are also open, including Jamesport Vineyards and Pindar in Peconic.
Visitors are expected to see socially distanced tables, hand sanitizer and strict limits on entering indoor facilities.
Customers are advised to make a reservation before heading to a winery, and some are checking people's temperature before they walk in.
