Warnings are being issued about bots and fake accounts trying to influence public opinion.

No, it's not election's we're talking about. 

Early social media buzz about Tom Hardy's 'Venom' is...not great.  Several harsh comments started floating around Twitter following early screenings of the new anti-hero flick. 

However, fans have some theories about these reviews - specifically, that Lady Gaga followers are intentionally flooding Twitter with the bad reviews so that 'A Star is Born' wins the weekend box office.  

Both movies open Oct. 5.
