A Manorville man is facing DWI charges for a crash that left his passenger seriously injured Saturday night in East Moriches, according to police.
Authorities say Zachary Kollegger, 37, was driving on East Moriches Boulevard when he lost control and crashed his vehicle into a wooded area around 8:30 p.m.
He and his passenger, 34-year-old Kristin Regina, were both hospitalized.
Kollegger is expected to be OK, while Regina remains in serious condition.
Authorities say Kollegger is set to be arraigned in Central Islip at a later date.
