News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Sam Augeri says scattered showers will begin Friday afternoon and continue through Saturday. There will be dryer, but cooler weather on Sunday.

-Weather for the weekend has trended a little bit drier. It will be unsettled Friday into Saturday with a few showers around. There will be the chance for brief moderate to heavy rain when the front swings through on Saturday but not a washout. Skies will clear with sun for the afternoon. Behind the rain it gets breezy and much cooler to finish the weekend.
