The STEM X Festival, a hands-on two-day event featuring drones, coding, virtual reality and robotics, was held at the Cradle of Aviation Museum.

Over 600 students from Long Island school districts participated Friday and more than 3,000 children and families attended Saturday.

Event organizers hope the festival inspires career pathways.
