News 12 is learning drone sightings have been reported in the Bronx and over LaGuardia Airport.

The sightings come after lawmakers across the tri-state have been demanding a federal briefing over the drones that have been alarming residents over the past few weeks.

In response, the NYC Emergency Management says they are “aware of unconfirmed reports of drones flying over LaGuardia Airport. We have not received an official reports of drone activity at this time. NYCEM is monitoring the situation and working with relevant agencies to ensure the safety of all New Yorkers.”
