A driving rain and strong winds are creating some harsh conditions on the Jersey Shore.
News 12 reporter Chris Keating says Barnegat Bay has not created high-tide flooding, but the rough surf will surely lead to erosion at the beach shore in Ortley Beach.
There was hardly anyone outside, except a few fishermen who were attempting to catch bluefish.
The temperature in the area has dropped to the low-50s, making it feel more like October – not the beginning of spring.
Forecasters say Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of late-day thunderstorms. The temperature will be warmer in the high-60s.
