MPG Manhattan Parking, the operator of a condemned parking garage in Yonkers, sent out an email on Monday advising those who use the garage to remove their cars.
Motorists were seen driving into the garage throughout Tuesday. Some of the drivers entering told News 12 off camera that they will continue to park since they paid for the parking this month, despite its condemnation.
"I'm going to have to basically pay double and go across the street and look for parking in other lots. So, it's a very unfortunate situation," said Mason Smith, who has parked in the lot for more than five years.
News 12 contacted the MPG Manhattan Parking with additional questions and are waiting to hear back.
