Police are searching for the driver that hit and seriously injured a pedestrian in Uniondale.
Police say an unidentified 40-year-old man was hit as he crossed Jerusalem Avenue in Uniondale around 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to police, the car hit the man and did not stop. The vehicle should have front-end damage.
The victim suffered serious head trauma.
