Police say a driver was pulled from a car engulfed in flames in North Merrick on Thursday night.
State police and the North Bellmore Fire Department responded to the scene just before 10 p.m.
The incident happened on the Southern State Parkway near Exit 24, Merrick Avenue.
Fire officials say one person from the car was taken to NUMC for burns. Their condition has not been released.
