The World Health Organization is confirming that there is emerging evidence that the coronavirus is airborne - meaning people can catch the virus from droplets floating in the air.
News 12's Elizabeth Hashagen was joined by Dr. Hugh Cassiere to discuss how we can protect ourselves, and our families, from a virus that could be floating in the air.
Dr. Cassiere is the medical director of Respiratory Services at North Shore University Hospital and chief of the Critical Care Medicine Department.
