We are saying goodbye to someone who's been at News 12 Long Island from the start.
On Thursday night, Doug Geed sat at the anchor desk for the last time.
Geed has been telling Long Island stories since 1986.
From powerful moments in politics, to moments when tragedy forever changed Long Island and the world.
Geed will continue hosting the The East End through the end of the year.
The show will then continue with new hosts Erin Colton and Joe Arena.
Arena will also join "The News at Ten" as an anchor.
