The Southampton Animal Shelter is getting some new arrivals waiting to be adopted.

The animal shelter picked up dozens of dogs and puppies on Saturday from Puerto Rico at the Gabreski Airport.

Since Puerto Rico is still recovering from Hurricane Maria, the shelter says the hope is to give these dogs a better life here.
