A video showing two dogs in Brooklyn that were left outside during the blizzard went viral on social media, and now a Long Island animal rescue group has taken action.
The video, which was taken by a neighbor, shows the dogs outside in the storm with only an uninsulated doghouse for shelter.
Robert Misseri, founder of Guardians of Rescue, says through his work with the ASPCA he was able to get the owner to surrender one of the dogs. Misseri says it wasn't easy because the owner was tough.
The 14-year-old dog named Prince lived every day outdoors, according to the neighbor who shot the video.
