The Andrew Muller Primary School dealt with another toilet backup, according to a letter from the district Wednesday.
It has become a recurring problem at the Miller Place school. Students have also complained about odors and had been temporarily moved to the middle school in previous instances.
The superintendent says the pipes were snaked Wednesday to clear the internal clog to allow the school to be open Thursday.
A portion of the letter also stated, "We will continue to be vigilant with our reminders of what should not be flushed down toilets to reduce these incidents. This Saturday we have scheduled a non-conventional and unique process to further clear out any potential residual material in the pipes in an effort to reduce clogging."
