Detectives: Woman killed in Patchogue apartment fire

A woman was killed in a Patchogue fire Wednesday, detectives say.
Fifth Precinct officers and members of the Patchogue Fire Department responded to 75 Rider Ave. after a 911 caller reported an apartment fire at around 6:15 p.m.
When the fire was put out, a woman's body was located in the residence.
Three apartments were also damaged in the fire.
