Detectives say Jose L. Rodriguez Delacruz, 53, was performing dental work at his second floor office on 1 West Sunrise Highway.
Following an investigation, it was discovered that Delacruz was practicing as an unlicensed dentist.
He was placed under arrest Thursday without incident.
