Policy changes were recently initiated at Bronx and city schools and officials now want to know how the schools are doing. The city Department of Education plans to survey students, parents and teachers about school progress. The Satisfaction Survey takes 25 minutes to complete and is part of a $25 million accountability initiative to grade city schools. The results of the survey will be used by the department, along with an analysis of standardized test scores, to give each school a letter grade.
