Hundreds came out Friday to pay their respects to a fallen Long Island hero.
Friday was the second day of wakes for Air National Guardsman Master Sgt. Christopher Raguso at the Commack Fire Department.
The 39-year-old father was one of seven, four from the 106th Rescue Wing in Westhampton Beach, who were killed when their helicopter went down in Iraq earlier this month.
Raguso was also a member of the FDNY and volunteer firefighter in Commack. He leaves behind a wife and two daughters.
The Kings Park Chamber of Commerce asked for donations to feed the firefighters and military members who attend Raguso's funeral Saturday. The Chamber of Commerce was seeking anything easy to eat or easy to drink. Donations can be brought to the Kings Park Fire Department.
The Chamber of Commerce was expecting around 20,000 people to be in Kings Park for the funeral.
There will be road closures in effect due to the funeral.
